Rugby 08 is the last release in the Rugby series by EA Sports. The detailing pros. The game allows players to play as many Rugby nations, both major and minor, and includes many tournaments, such as the Rugby World Cup, Tri Nations, Six Nations, Guinness Premiership and Super 14.

The game received 'mixed or average reviews' on both platforms according to the review aggregation website Metacritic.[14][15] In Japan, Famitsu gave the PlayStation 2 version a score of one four, two sixes, and one five for a total of 21 out of 40.[4]

Even though I loved lomu with all my heart I think it's the nostalgia that enhances our memories of the game play. Correct me if I'm wrong but I remember it being hard to make progress upfield unless you passed it out to the wing (which then made it easy) unless you had the big man himself or Simon geoghan on the ball which meant you could hand off all 15 opposition players if you were good at it.Don't get me wrong it was unreal and in comparison to the more recent games it's great but if a game was going to be remade with enhanced graphics I'd be looking for rugby 08.
